“We are being punished. We started work from the border near Poura Bhavan, ”said Krishna Chakra body, chief executive of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

KOLKATA: Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation has issued a statement replacing lamps and lanterns in Salt Lake and Rajarhat. The national government received $ 17 million for the project.

“We are being punished. We started work from the border near Poura Bhavan, ”said Krishna Chakra borty, chief executive of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

People always complain that many gates in the city have poor lighting and are dark at sunset. There are also many robots in Salt Lake and the areas of Baguette and Rajarhat Gopalpur.

Currently, approximately 25,000 lights will be replaced by LED lights in Salt Lake and elsewhere. According to extreme estimates, the federal government pays a monthly fee of $ 500 million. “Up to 60 percent of the electricity bill is paid for compliance with traffic lights,” the ministry said.

The reason is that sensors and timers are based on lines that illuminate automatic lights in normal light. This allows the government system to monitor individual robots from its control room and receive a signal and alert any traffic lights if there is traffic.

“Most of Salt Lake City has no electricity. The street lighting project is great because it not only saves nature and lights but also saves a lot of electricity bills,” said Tamal Pal, a resident of HB.
